ABOUT
about me
Photography is a way of life for me. Every day, I live, breathe, and study photography in every possible way, whether landscapes, nature, people, or street scenes. I photograph everything that inspires me using any camera format: digital with the most advanced cameras and lenses or the most traditional analog (film) cameras and formats. All this is to capture the story and feel of a specific moment with the press of a button.
I started my journey with analog photography using cameras of various sizes and formats: standard (35mm), medium (120mm), and large (4x5 and 8x10). I Received my inspiration and knowledge from my father, a professional and successful photographer. As a child, I remember helping him in the studio and later developing films and prints in the lab. Today, I continue developing films and photographs in a darkroom I built, whether black-and-white, color, or slide photography. In addition to traditional and standard digital photography, there are moments when I feel that time-lapse photography will tell the story better.

As a photographer who doesn't compromise on quality and catching the right moment, I often go to unusual extremes to capture the picture I believe in. Yet I know that despite my high efforts, I might not press the button and may not take that picture. I also believe in and am open to flow with different situations and opportunities on my journey that differ entirely from what I wanted or imagined. It's precisely there that I find the ideal moment. I believe that planning and persistence are excellent and essential, although sometimes agility will lead me to fantastic results.

Over the recent years, I've deeply immersed myself in my artistic journey, driven by a desire to convey my personal vision fully. I've embraced the entire art creation process, from capturing the photograph to framing and mounting it on the wall as a fine art piece. Now, I personally take a photograph, develop it, print it, and frame it, utilizing my equipment and the skills I've honed. All my arts are pigment prints on the highest-quality papers; most are Hahnemuhle or Canson, chosen for their unique look and archival-grade materials.

I can't fully describe my feelings and the satisfaction of transforming a moment in life into a work of art.
Suffice it to say that there are images I took 30 years ago that still inspire me to continue my journey.
